Catherine Monk
Hello there! My name is Catherine and i have been writing for a few months now and loving every minute of it. I have a number of articles on the web and I adore writing fiction equally and am waiting to hear from a publisher if they want to publish my psychiatric memoirs so fingers crossed!.
I was a psychiatric nurse for 11 years and worked in the field of elderly care, adolescence and acute adult care. I tend to write articles related to health, especially mental health, I also have BA Hons in English and I enjoy combining my skill of researching with my knowledge of mental health issues. I had to give up psychiatric nursing due to a disability and so I am hoping that my second passion in life, writing, will prove to be a new career path!
Not only am I an experienced health care professional but i have been horseriding for over 20 years and have worked as a groom. I have come across most of the behaviours that a horse displays, and became pretty good at solving them!
